A message from our head teacher

Thank you for your interest in our school. I am pleased and proud to welcome you and your child on behalf of the school community.

At Gothic Mede we encourage the development of each child as an individual and encourage high standards of achievement for all pupils. We aim to work closely with parents to this end and I hope that you will participate fully in the life of the school.

Gothic Mede is a 4-9 co-educational lower school in the town of Arlesey. We are Trust School within the Bedfordshire East Schools Trust (BEST) partnership feeding into Etonbury Academy, Henlow Middle School and Robert Bloomfield Academy. Pupils who attend come largely from the immediate local area, though a small number are from out of catchment.  We are committed to developing a learning environment which is happy, safe, caring, exciting and full of opportunities. We offer a broad curriculum and our pupils benefit from good facilities including an ICT suite, lap tops, playing field in a rural setting and a swimming pool. Our school in is the heart of the community and there are always interesting and fun activities taking place in school.
